The 2024 season saw a new generation of drivers take center stage across the various SRO America championships, and they certainly left an indelible mark in all the different series. From title wins to standout performances, these rookies displayed incredible skill, adaptability, and determination on some of North America's most challenging circuits. Here’s a closer look at the newcomers who emerged as stars in their respective categories.

Justin Rothberg

Rothberg capped off a spectacular rookie season by claiming the GT World Challenge America Pro-Am Championship alongside teammate Robby Foley. His tremendous growth in the series saw him turn into a fierce competitor, picking up three wins and five podiums, including the class win in the illustrious Indy 8 Hour, which solidified their championship title.
 
He also did a stellar job in the GT America series, finishing as Vice Champion in the fiercely competitive SRO3 class by one single point. Rothberg’s ability to handle high-pressure situations throughout the season has cemented him as one of the brightest prospects in the sport.

Luca Mars

Mars showcased incredible form in his first season in the Pro class, finishing on the podium in eight out of thirteen rounds in the championship. His adaptability to various conditions and circuits demonstrated a level of maturity beyond his years, and he is undoubtedly a rookie to watch as he continues to develop his career.

Isaac Sherman

Sherman dominated the GT America GT4 class, clinching the championship with a jaw-dropping thirteen wins and two additional podium finishes. His performance was highly attention-grabbing, standing out as the one to beat in the series. Sherman also made a stellar Pro-Am debut in GT4 America at the final event of the season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, securing a podium on his first weekend, proving he’s a force to be reckoned with across multiple series.

Pirelli GT4 America

Jaden Lander  

Lander took the GT4 America Am class championship with four wins and four podiums, including a commanding weekend sweep at Road America. He got up to speed quickly and truly hit his stride in the latter half of the season, delivering wins under pressure and adapting to the fiercely competitive grid. His impressive first year in the series already proves that he has a promising future ahead.

Colin Garrett

After success in TC America, Garrett stepped up to GT4 America’s Silver class and immediately made an impact, notching three wins and four podiums. His performances earned him a solid finish in the standings and showcased his ability to compete at a higher level, marking a smooth transition to GT racing.

Hannah Greenemeier 

Greenemeier had a great season, starting with a win on debut at Sonoma, followed by two podiums in the Am class. She was quickly promoted to the Silver class mid-season, where she added two more podium finishes to her name. Her rapid rise through the ranks reflects her adaptability and natural talent behind the wheel.

TC America

Alex Garcia

Garcia finished as the runner-up in the TCA class championship, but his impressive season included five wins and five podium finishes. His tenacity and determination were evident every time he made his way on track, making him one of the standout rookies in the touring car ranks.
