There’s a new team on the block as JTR Motorsports Engineering are set to join the Pirelli GT4 America grid with a full season entry in 2025. They will be equipped with a Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4 EVO, competing in the Pro-Am category.
The group has seen a great deal of success across various series, with extensive experience competing in diverse sports car racing championships. Their versatility has seen them excel with many different manufactures and platforms.
They have also previously competed in a select few GT4 America races in the past, but this time around they will be committing to the full thirteen rounds.
Anthony McIntosh will be partnering alongside Parker Thompson as co-drivers. McIntosh already possesses valuable experience competing in different GT3 cars, utilizing Porsche, Lamborghini, and Mercedes-AMG in his different campaigns, and winning championships in the process. Now as he gets behind the wheel of the Supra, his teammate Thompson will already be bringing in significant knowledge of his own, having previously completed two seasons in this very same machinery.
“ We are very excited to have Tony McIntosh and Parker Thompson as our Pro-Am driver pairing for GT4 America,” said Dave Thomas, Team Manager. “I think they will be really competitive in the series, and our aim is to go out there and win races, and hopefully win the championship.”
“This is our first full season entry in SRO,” he added. “We have done some one-off events in the past, so we’re really grateful for the opportunity to run a full season. We have competed in so many other series, but we’re very happy to be able to commit to this completely. I’m particularly looking forward to returning to Circuit of The Americas for the Lone Star Enduro. Tony and Parker recently won a six hour endurance race there last month, so we’re super excited to go back and hopefully replicate that same performance in GT4 America.”
