The 2025 Pirelli GT4 America powered by Pirelli season came to a dramatic conclusion at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where rain-soaked conditions, late-race incidents, and high-stakes championship battles kept everyone on edge until the moment the checkered flag waved to close out the year.

After the race began under Full Course Yellow due to standing water on track, the green flag waved with 52 minutes remaining, unleashing chaos and opportunities across all three classes. In the end, JMF Motorsports, Blackdog Racing, and RAFA Racing Team claimed the final victories on the calendar.

Silver Class

Once the race went green, Danny Dyszelski led the Silver field in the No. 77 VPX Motorsport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, until a costly mistake sent him wide and off-track just 10 minutes later. That opened the door for Kenton Koch, who had already secured the Silver championship the day before, to take over the lead in the No. 97 Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4.

Following pit stops, Kevin Boehm took the wheel of the Random Vandals machine, maintaining control of the race as Jesse Webb charged forward in the No. 3 JMF Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO, with Eric Filgueiras climbing through the order in the No. 12 Riley Technologies Porsche.

With nine minutes to go, contact between Webb and Boehm for the lead of the race had a major ripple effect through the field. Both cars were able to continue, with Webb emerging briefly in front before race control issued him a drive-through penalty for incident responsibility. That opened the door for Mike David Ortmann, who took full advantage in the No. 4 JMF Motorsports Aston Martin, charging to the overall and class victory, marking his second win of the season.

Boehm recovered to finish second, capping off Random Vandals Racing’s championship-winning campaign, while Riley Technologies claimed a strong third-place finish with Filgueiras and Spencer Pumpelly.

“It was amazing,” exclaimed Mike David Ortmann. “We started this project in December, and to finish the season with a win is incredible. The conditions were changing every lap, but the racing was fair, and it was such a great fight. Huge thanks to the JMF crew, it’s been an amazing year, the best of my career so far.”

“It was slippery everywhere early on, and I just tried to find where the grip was,” explained Brayden Arthur. “Toward the end of my stint, I was able to settle into a rhythm and hand the car over to Mike, who brought it home. What a way to end the year!”

Pro-Am Class

In Pro-Am, Matheus Leist took the early lead in the No. 47 NOLASPORT Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 RS Clubsport, building a comfortable gap to Matt Million in the No. 53 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4.

The championship fight, however, was centered on ACI Motorsports and Random Vandals Racing. Following the pit stops, Jan Heylen emerged in fourth in the No. 7 ACI Porsche, just ahead of Josh Green in the No. 94 Random Vandals BMW, a gap that would be enough for Random Vandals Racing to clinch the title.

Further up the order, Michael Cooper was on a charge in the No. 33 Blackdog Racing McLaren Artura GT4, overtaking multiple cars, including Matt Travis in the No. 47 NOLASPORT Porsche, to secure his second victory of the weekend.

Heylen joined the podium in third, while Tony Gaples and Cooper celebrated a perfect weekend sweep as the championship concluded with Random Vandals Racing crowned 2025 Pro-Am Champions.

“I’ve got a great teammate here with data I can learn from,” said Tony Gaples. “We just worked well all weekend, it’s been fantastic.”

“When they said last night it was still mathematically possible, my mind went through all the little moments that cost us points this year,” admitted Michael Cooper. “Huge credit to McLaren, Blackdog Racing, and everyone on our crew. To end with a win at Indy, and in the rain, was the perfect sendoff.”

Am Class

The No. 72 RAFA Racing Team Toyota Supra GT4 of Kenny Schmied and Anthony Geraci led the Am field, with Charlie Postins close behind in the No. 36 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT4.

Race 1 winners Fast Track Racing suffered a setback with a pit lane speed violation, leaving Schmied and Geraci clear to take the win. But it wasn’t enough to overcome BimmerWorld’s season-long consistency. Postins and James Clay finished second, earning BimmerWorld its third Am class championship by just one point.

Flying Lizard Motorsports completed the podium with Zach Lumsden and Kris Wilson in the No. 413 BMW M4 GT4.

“We lost to a great team today, they were fast, clean, and competitive all season,” expressed Anthony Geraci. “Kenny gave me a great car, and I just tried to bring it home strong. It’s been a fantastic year.”

“We did everything we could today,” stated Kenny Schmied. “Losing the championship by one point stings, but it’s been such a strong season. The team gave us an incredible car every weekend, and Anthony was outstanding all year.”
