Kellymoss faced a demanding weekend at Sebring International Raceway, with three Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 entries taking on the heat, traffic, and the bumps. Across both races, the team showed steady pace, continued development, and a strong overall effort ahead of the next round at Road Atlanta.
While the final results did not fully reflect the team’s overall potential, Kellymoss leaves Florida with valuable momentum and clear signs of continued growth across its GT4 program.
The No. 73 Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 of Paul Bocuse and Erika Hoffmann also made steady gains throughout the weekend, finishing seventh in class in both races. Bocuse made his Pirelli GT4 America debut at Sebring, stepping into the program and quickly getting reacquainted with the Porsche Cayman platform.
“This was my first weekend in GT4 America, and the first time I’ve been back in the Cayman platform in about four years, so I was really excited to get behind the wheel again,” said Bocuse. “I’d like to thank Kellymoss, Andy, and Victoria for the opportunity, as well as my parents for allowing me to go out and do what I love. It was a great weekend. It took a little while to get used to the car and get back into my rhythm, but once I did, I felt really dialed in and in the flow. I’m super happy with the weekend and hopefully we’ll be able to do the rest of the season. I’d also like to thank my teammate Erika. She did a really good job keeping the car on track and making a lot of good passes.”
“I’m really proud of the work the team put in this week at Sebring,” said Erika Hoffmann, praising both her teammate and Kellymoss. “We made strong progress with the car throughout the weekend, and Paul did an excellent job jumping in on short notice and getting right up to pace. After starting further back than we hoped, it was a lot of fun fighting our way forward through the field in both races.”
In the No. 52 Porsche Cayman 718 GT4, Eric Filgueiras and Tom Kopczynski continued to build strength in the Pro-Am class, finishing sixth in Race 1 and seventh in Race 2. Their Race 1 effort was highlighted by moving up from 19th to 13th overall, earning the pairing the Hard Charger Award.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience this weekend at Sebring,” said Filgueiras. “Our performance as a team and as a driver pairing only continues to get better, and the results are showing it. I love racing at Sebring, Tom Kopczynski is really finding his footing in the series, and the Kellymoss crew is firing on all cylinders. I can’t wait to get back to it at Road Atlanta.”
“ I survived another weekend in my first season of GT4 America” exclaimed Tom Kopczynski. “The competition is really intense. As I experience the format and the pace of each weekend, I know I will settle in and focus on the process of good driving. I relish the challenge, and I’m really eager to show what I can do as the season progresses.”
In the No. 24 Porsche Cayman 718 GT4, Ashley Freiberg and Loni Unser delivered a consistent weekend in the Silver class, finishing sixth in class in both Race 1 and Race 2. The pairing continued to show strong pace throughout the event, despite working through a mechanical issue earlier in the weekend.
“Overall, this was another strong weekend for us,” said Freiberg. “We continue to learn and improve each race weekend, and our pace is right where it needs to be. I truly believe we are on the verge of a breakthrough and competing for podium finishes this season. Early in the weekend, we showed the speed to potentially fight for a top-five overall result, but we encountered a mechanical issue on Friday that we had to work through.
“I want to give a huge thank you to the entire Kellymoss crew for all of their hard work and dedication this weekend. I have complete confidence in this team, and I know our results will continue to reflect that effort. I’d also like to thank our sponsors, PenFed, Acumatica, Mobil 1, Speedway Motors, Shift Up Now, Porsche Colorado Springs, Pagid Racing, and my personal sponsors Radius and WOW Carwash, for their continued support and for making this opportunity possible. We’ll keep pushing forward and building momentum as the season progresses.”
“After leaving Sebring, I’m feeling excited and grateful,” said Unser who echoed the sense of optimism following the weekend. “I am so grateful to have this incredible opportunity to race with Kellymoss in SRO GT4 America, backed by some amazing partners: Speedway Motors, PenFed, Acumatica, Porsche Colorado Springs, Shift Up Now, Radius, and Pagid. While we aren’t where we want to be in the results, I believe we’ve proved that we have the pace, and I am so excited to keep working hard to achieve what I know is there.”
Kellymoss now turns its focus to the next stop on the Pirelli GT4 America calendar at Road Atlanta from June 12 to 14, where the team will look to convert its continued progress into stronger results.
“There was a tremendous amount of learning for our GT4 America team across these two races,” stated Victoria Thomas, Team Principal. “Each driver had the opportunity to showcase racecraft, engage in strong battles, execute quality passes, and take important lessons from the moments that did not go our way.”
She concluded by saying, “that is exactly what we ask from a development weekend: growth, clean cars, competitive racing, and meaningful progress. Bringing home a Hard Charger Award was a strong reflection of that effort, and we look forward to applying what we learned at the next event.”
