It was late in the day by the time the Pirelli GT4 America grid took to the grid for their first official practice of the weekend. The 45 minute session gave competitors an opportunity to get up to speed around the road course ahead of the penultimate event of the season. It was the Silver class entry of Advance Motorsports who went fastest, with the No. 131 McLaren Artura GT4 of Austin Jurs and Parker Delong setting the best time of 1:28.642, the only one in the 1:28 mark. The No. 98 Random Vandals Racing BMW M4 GT4 (G82) EVO of Bruno Colombo and Josh Green followed in second, followed by three Pro-Am entries to complete the top five. Marc Miller and Allan Patten slotted themselves into third late in the session on board the No. 39 DOME Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4 EVO, with the likes of Matt Travis and Matheus Leist in the No. 47 NOLASPORT Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in fourth, and Michael Petramalo and Tyler McQuarrie in fifth in the No. 38 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT4 (G82) EVO.
