Las Vegas, NV – Heading into its first appearance in 30 years in the entertainment capital of the world, SRO’s Blancpain GT World Challenge America is set to share the spotlight with R.U.N by Cirque du Soleil.
With the GT World Challenge America series getting ready to take center stage at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS), October 17-20, R.U.N, the brand new production is set to open at Luxor on October 24. R.U.N is billed as the first live action thriller by Cirque du Soleil and combines real stunts, chases and combat in an immersive show.
Fans of high-energy, fast-paced, thrill-a-minute action will be sure to enjoy both the performances of R.U.N and the racing of GT World Challenge America. “We are excited to be partnering with Cirque du Soleil and R.U.N,” said Greg Gill, President and CEO, SRO America. “We felt the partnership had a perfect fit – our racing has an exotic and exhilarating feel, right on par with the theme of R.U.N.”
The three-day race schedule at LVMS will feature exotic GT3 supercars from Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Bentley, Acura, BMW, piloted by an international field of some of the top sports car racers in the world. The jam-packed weekend full of the top sports car and touring car action will also showcase the Pirelli GT4 America, TC America, and Saleen Cup – all series will close out their respective championships in the City of Lights.
