2019 Sprint X Champions Cameron Racing Returns to Pirelli GT4 America Program

As drivers and team members change from year-to-year, Cameron Racing made it a point to keep the 2019 championship winning program together. Set to kick off their 2020 campaign at the Circuit of the Americas this weekend and bringing the band back together for the upcoming season, Pirelli GT4 Sprint X Pro-Am Champions Greg Liefooghe and Sean Quinlan will return to defend their title.

"When something is going great you hate to change it," expressed Steve Cameron. "Having our full program remain the same from season to season is a rarity in motorsports. We now have the same championship winning drivers, crew and cars and will look to repeat our 2019 performances in 2020."

Piloting a BMW M4 GT4, Liefooghe and Quinlan will take their first green flag of the season this weekend in Austin, Texas. Aiming for the top step of the podium and a solid start to their season, the duo looks to put BMW and Cameron Racing back up top. Sean Quinlan will pull double duty competing the Pirelli GT4 Sprint Championship in all 2020 races except the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg due to a conflict.

Promoting the BMW line of products across a variety of different platforms, Cameron Racing will also enter one car in the GT World Challenge America program as Henry Schmitt and Greg Liefooghe will pilot a BMW M6 GT3. Supported by BMW of San Francisco, the GT3 platform will be on track this weekend for testing purposes only with the first wheel-to-wheel action commencing in May.

Drivers will take to the track on Thursday for a Promoters Test Day before official practice begins on Friday. Qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel action of the weekend will take place on Saturday with race two rolling off the grid on Sunday.
