Forbush Performance under the lens at Sonoma raceway

As the SRO – Spring X season starts in Sonoma this weekend, one team has a more eyes on it than others. Forbush Performance, spearheaded by Matt Forbush, is being filmed for Season Three of a new reality racing series called “Going Pro SRO America.” The series allows fans to get behind the wheel of a professional race car and see what it takes to compete professionally. As Forbush Performance takes to the track in their Toyota Supra GT4, they will be followed by a host of camera lenses to capture all the action.

The man behind the camera is Damon Surzyshyn whose show, “Going Pro SRO America Season One,” premiered on CBS Sports Network a couple of weeks ago and will be airing this weekend. Not only is Damon behind the camera, he is behind the wheel of the Forbush Performance Supra as a driver. Forbush and  Surzyshyn telecommunicated leading up to this week, but this was their meeting and Forbush said it's a great partnership already.

“Damon is a great guy with a great vision, and though we are launching a new race team and filming a television show at the same time, there are no distractions. It's not cumbersome or burdensome. It's actually a great relationship and even though I have no experience in front of the camera, it's a lot of fun,” says Forbush.

Surzyshyn remarks, “We actually raced against each other last year and may have banged doors once or twice and sometimes you aren't sure if that will make people like you less or more. For me and Matt, it was definitely the latter.”

Forbush adds, “The show is not only a great way to get fans behind the wheel, it is great added exposure for the sponsors. I am happy to get our sponsors as much visibility as we can.”

Season Three of Going Pro SRO America will be filmed all season and is set to air sometime in 2022
