AutoTechnic Racing Enters Pirelli GT4 America Competition

New Milford, CT - AutoTechnic Racing enters a BMW M4 GT4 to compete in the upcoming rounds of Pirelli GT4 America SprintX competition at Circuit of the Americas. Alongside a 2 car TC America Championship campaign, Tom Capizzi and John Capestro-Dubets are set to compete in the 2-driver, 60 minute competition May 1-2.

An exciting combination of drivers as Capestro-Dubets has been working closely with Capizzi as a driver coach for his TC America Championship efforts both in 2020 and continuing into the 2021 season. A long time driver with AutoTechnic Racing, Tom Capizzi is excited to expand his driving into GT4 class machinery with a familiar and trusted team. He will also be campaigning his BMW M240iR along with Austen Smith in the 40 minute touring car sprint races.

Taking on the challenge of sharing driving duties is nothing new for John Capestro-Dubets. John has immense experience behind the wheel of BMW sports cars, having previously raced BMW 328’s, M3s, and M240iR racing cars. At his last professional outing, Capestro-Dubets stood on the top step of the podium after driving an AutoTechnic Racing M240iR to TC America class victory at Circuit of the Americas in 2020.
