Circuit of the Americas is Next for Jason Bell

Jason Bell and co-driver Andrew Davis will compete this coming weekend, April 30 to May 2, at the second round of the SRO Pirelli GT4 America SprintX Championship. Competing at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, the Aston Martin and GMG Racing duo will be aiming for the top step of the podium while Bell will also see action in the GT4 America event.

“We had a good test at COTA a few weeks ago and that should transition into a solid race weekend for us,” explained Bell. “We are actually still very new to the Aston Martin so any chance that we can take to get on track is a positive. We made some big gains and should be able to build on our podium result from the first weekend of 2021.”

Already a podium winner this season, Bell, along with Andrew Davis have their sights set high. With experience at COTA, nothing short of some podium results would be a disappointment for the #2 Aston Martin machine.

“I’m very excited to get back to Circuit of the Americas with Jason and the GMG crew! This was the site of our big victory last season, so returning as defending race winners always brings a good feeling,” explained Andrew Davis. “We recently completed a successful two-day test at the circuit in our new Aston Martin Vantage GT4. The test was a great opportunity for the entire team to learn more about the car while giving Jason and I a chance to get more comfortable with what the car needs from behind the wheel. So, we are heading into the event with high levels of confidence and eager to pick up where we left off last September!”

Jason Bell would like to thank all of his partners for their continued support. A huge thanks to GMG Racing, Aston Martin Racing, Ceramic Pro USA and Gridsport.
