Mikel Miller to Pilot Automatic Racing’s Aston Martin for Remainder of 2021 GT4 America Program

After taking some time off in 2020 for the family, Mikel Miller is getting back behind the wheel in official race competition. Joining Automatic Racing and piloting an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 with Paul Kiebler, the duo is set to contest the remainder of the SRO Motorsports GT4 America rounds beginning at Road America later this month.

“I want to thank Aston Martin, Automatic Racing, and Paul Kiebler. Paul's continuous and selfless efforts for the sport, the team, and the work he puts into getting fast is truly remarkable,” explained Miller. “I am grateful for the opportunity, and we are excited for the chance to compete in the GT4 America program. SRO Motorsports offers great competition, and it is a great series! We are hoping to build momentum heading into 2022.”

With current plans to compete at Road America over the August 27-29 weekend, Kiebler, Miller and Automatic Racing are aiming to complete the season. With an event at Watkins Glen International Raceway in mid-September, October will see a pair of races at the Sebring International Raceway and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Miller added, “The plan and goal is to finish out the 2021 season and see where we stand. In the meantime, we will be working towards solidifying a full season effort in 2022. Plans can always change in motorsports, but I am confident in this team, our partners, and the strategic plan to compete at the highest level possible.”

Having stayed in race shape by getting opportunities every week to get behind the wheel of everything from LMPs to vintage cars, Miller was able to sample the Aston Martin at Road America a few weeks ago. Getting up to speed and showing pace by the end of the two-day test, Kiebler and Miller paired with Automatic Racing are ready to go.

“We had a very productive test,” continued Miller. “The first day was good, but the second day was great. I think we are in good shape but again, I am just thankful for Paul, Automatic Racing and our long list of partners for the opportunity.”

Mikel Miller would like to thank and support Aston Martin Racing, Aston Martin Racing North America, Automatic Racing, Pepper Pike Capitola Partners, Can’dAid, Stand21, RaceForRP, SimCraft, SavageDesign, Invisible Glass, FluidLogic, and OnTheBeach Surf Shop.
