Sebring, Fla. - After a doubleheader in Upstate New York for round 9 and 10, Pirelli GT4 America competitors head to Florida and historic Sebring International Raceway for rounds 11 and 12, October 1st-3rd.

Located in Sebring, Florida, the 3.74 mile (6.02 km), seventeen-turn road course is unique for its unsettling bumps and creation from a World War II-era airfield. Much of the track runs along concrete runways and taxiways, and when combined with an asphalt surface elsewhere on the track, the course proves a demanding challenge for car and driver alike. The last time World Challenge competitors competed on Sebring’s challenging and rough surface was over a decade ago, in 2009.

With the end of the season on the horizon with Indianapolis next month, the #47 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CLUBSPORT MR driven by Matt Travis and Jason Hart for NOLASPORT maintains a stout points lead in the Pro-Am class over the #52 BMW M4 driven by Tom Capizzi and John Capestro-Dubets for Auto Technic Racing. Tied for second in Pro-Am points with the #52 is the #15 Aston Martin Vantage AMR of Kenton Koch and Bryan Putt for BSport Racing, who seek redemption after a late-race penalty at Watkins Glen. Putt hails from nearby Bonita Springs.

The #119 BMW M4 of Gregory Liefooghe and Sean Quinlan from Stephen Cameron Racing looming just four points back in 3rd, the championship battle is still far from decided. The #50 Aston Martin Vantage AMR of Aaron Povoledo and Ross Chouest led laps at Watkins Glen in the second race before getting caught up in an incident that dropped them down the order - the new 3R Povoledo Racing team will get another chance to claim victory at Sebring.

After winning for the first time in Pirelli GT4 America competition at Watkins Glen, the #24 Aston Martin Vantage AMR of Gray Newell and Ian James for Heart of Racing Team aim to continue their success at Sebring. The pair vaulted themselves to 8th in the Pro-Am standings after the second race in Upstate New York. The #79 Mercedes-AMG of Christopher Gumprecht and Kyle Marcelli with RENNtech Motorsports will compete just two hours from the team’s home base in Stuart, Florida. The #8 Audi R8 LMS GT4 of Elias Sabo and Andy Lee will also compete in the Pro-Am class at Sebring. The #120 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR of Adam Adelson and Elliot Skeer will also contend in Pro-Am at the bumpy Florida circuit.

It’s a home state affair for the #72 Mercedes-AMG Murillo Racing team, based out of Land O’Lakes, Florida. Kenny Murillo and Christian Szymczak will pilot their metallic orange #72 in the Silver category. The duo currently sports a 40-point advantage over the #22 BMW M4 driven by Tim Barber and Cole Ciraulo for CCR RAcing/Team TFB, who are currently second in Silver class points. Just 20 points behind, in third, sits the #11 BMW M4 driven by Stevan McAleer and Toby Grahovec, who are fresh off a victory for their Classic BMW team at Watkins Glen. The #35 Mercedes-AMG driven by Michai Stevens and Colin Mullan also return for Conquest Racing West after strong showings in New York. The #062 Aston Martin Vantage AMR driven by Ryan and Warren Dexter will also enter rounds 11 and 12 at Sebring.

Fresh off a pair of victories in Watkins Glen, the #68 Toyota Supra GR and drivers Kevin Conway and John Geesbreght with Smooge Racing aim to extend their healthy points lead over the #16 Capstone Motorsports Mercedes-AMG of John Allen and Kris Wilson. The #46 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR of David and Russell Walker will also compete in the Am category alongside the #47 Pro-Am entry for NOLASPORT. Orlando, Florida, is home to Automatic Racing and the #09 Aston Martin Vantage AMR driven by Mikel Miller and Paul Kiebler. The #98 BMW M4 of Paul Sparta and Al Carter with Random Vandals Racing head into Sebring, aiming to improve on the strong finish from the first race at Watkins Glen.
