Indianapolis, Ind. - The Qualifying positions for the final two races of the season have been provisionally set and with most team and driver championships settled going into the weekend, the spotlight now shines on the three-way Manufacturer battle for the series.

The first Driver-qualifying session saw an abbreviated time due to an incident with the #24 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage driven by Grey Newell creating a red-flag incident. Upon restart, the fastest lap time around the dry circuit was set by Stevan McAleer in the #11 Classic BMW BMW M4 GT4, clocking a 1-minute, 43.919-second lap time to capture the Overall pole and the first position in the Silver class. Slotting next to McAleer is Conquest Racing West Silver-class driver Michai Stephens, who drove his #35 Mercedes-AMG GT4 a scant slower around the circuit, registering a 1:44.099 lap time. Row two opens with the top Am Qualifier, Kris Wilson slotting the #16 Capstone Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT4 into P3 with Champion-elect Kenny Murillo in the #72 Murillo Racing Mercedes-AMG in P4. P5 sees the top Pro-Am qualifier James Clay in his #36 BimmerWorld Racing BMW M4 GT4 hoping to add to BMW's Manufacturer points along with P6 Silver class driver Tim Barber (#22 CCR Racing/Team TFB), also flying the roundel emblem.

Second-driver qualifying session completed without incident and will see Manufacturer title contender Aston Martin occupying three of the top four positions on the grid for the final race of the season; in P1, Valentin Hasse-Clot will start in the Pro-Am #59 WR Racing Aston Martin, while Kenton Koch (#15 BSport Racing) will slot in behind Hasse-Clot in P3 and Andrew Davis (#2 GMG Racing) will sit in P4. Representing BMW's quest for the Manufacturer's title, John-Capestro-Dubets will sit in P2 with the #52 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4, while the P5 slot on the grid will see Tom Dyer starting the race in the #119 Stephen Cameron Racing BMw. The sole representation for points-leader Porsche in the first three rows of the grid will see Spencer Pumpelly driving the new-liveried #66 TRG - The Racers Group Porsche for Saturday's race.
