Stephen Cameron Racing Continues to Lead ProAm Practice, RHC Jorgensen/Strom by Strom Motorsports Pace Ams
The #19 Stephen Cameron Racing BMW M4 GT4 topped the practice session once again as teams to the dry and increasingly warmer track at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca Thursday. The 1:31.791 lap time superceded the previous fast lap time set earlier in the afternoon.
ST Racing completed the practice session sweep by placing cars in second and third positions of the ProAm class for the final session. The #38 BMW M4 GT4 Tan/Wolfe entry managed a 1:34.127 best lap while the #28 BMW M4 GT4 with the newly-signed Miller/Gottsacker duo turned a 1:34.228 lap.
Another BMW made the class-best fast lap for team RHC Jorgensen/Strom by Strom Motorsports as their Jorgensen/Strom-driven #452 M4 GT4 posted a 1:33.017 fast lap that also captured 2nd overall in the session.
Qualifying sessions for Friday's race rounds 3 and 4 begin at 4:45pm PDT Thursday afternoon.
