Rooster Hall returns to SRO America

Rooster Hall returns to SRO America

Rooster Hall returns to SRO America for the 2022 season after a two-year hiatus!  Owners Todd and Michelle Brown have gathered their crew again and return with a two-car effort for the 2022 season.  Rooster Hall has an entry in both TC America powered by Skip Barber and Pirelli GT4 America.  “We are absolutely thrilled to return to SRO.  It’s going to be an exciting season” stated Todd Brown.

Returning with Rooster Hall is Johan Schwartz who will co-drive with owner Todd Brown in the #80 BMW M4 for the GT4 America season.  “It is great that Todd gets to move from the SRO sidelines to the driver’s seat this season.  I am excited to now compete a full season in GT4,” said Schwartz.  Also returning is Crew Chief Eric Meyer and Team Engineer Brent Tedder.

New to the team is Colin Garrett who will pilot the #44 BMW M2 CSR in TC America TCX.  Colin, a Xfinity series NASCAR driver, is looking to expand his road racing resume with the SRO 2022 season.  Racing and giving back to our veteran community go hand in hand for Colin.  During the season, Colin will use the livery on his car to spotlight his 11/11 Veteran Project promoting access to community, health services, and entrepreneurship opportunities for veterans and their families.

Owner Todd Brown began Rooster Hall as a way to enhance his hobby. Today, Rooster Hall offers customer support, transportation and car building from club level to pro level racing.  Rooster Hall has had multiple National Championships in club racing and three successful pro seasons 2017-2019 with driver Johan Schwartz bringing home the SRO TC Championship (2019) and third place TC Championship (2018).  Both Schwartz and Rooster Hall placed in the 2019 BMW Trophy cup with 2nd place (driver) for Schwartz and 3rd place  (team) for Rooster Hall.

The SRO season opener will be at the historical 12 turn circuit of Sonoma Raceway, April 15-17th.   SRO reports and impress field of 135 entries between GT and Tour Car.   Ticket prices start at just $10 for Friday tickets, and a three-day pass is just $40. Kids 12 and under and parking are free of charge. Tickets can be purchased online, or at the gate.  All races are streamed live on the GTWorld YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/gtworld) and broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
