Sonoma, California -The Pirelli GT4 series ended the day on track with a second practice session before they head into qualifying rounds Saturday morning. The #2 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of GMG Racing driven by Jason Bell and Andrew Davis had the fastest overall time and led the Pro-Am field with a lap time of 1:45.515. Rounding out the top three overall in the Pro-Am class was the #8, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 of Flying Lizard Motorsports with Elias Sabo and Andy Lee behind the wheel putting down a solid 1:45.542. They were followed by #69 Toyota Supra GT4 of Smooge Racing, drivers Kevin Conway and John Geesbreght clocking in at 1:45.726.
In the Silver class, the #51 BMW M4 GT4, Auto Technic Racing driven by Austen Smith and Zack Anderson posted the fastest lap with a 1:46.935. Turning in a lap at 1:46.992 for second was #34 Mercedes AMG GT4, Conquest Racing/JWF Motorsports featuring Gavin Sanders and Michai Stephens behind the wheel. Coming in third fastest was the #112 Toyota GR Supra GT4, Dexter Racing with Dominic Starkweather and Ryan Dexter at the wheel with a lap time of 1:47.316.
The #032 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR of GMG Racing had the fastest lap in the AM Class with Kyle Washington and James Sofronas sharing duties at the wheel. A lap time of 1.46.695 was good enough for second in class for the #36 BMW M4 GT4, BimmerWorld, and drivers James Clay and Charlie Postins. Rounding out the field was #21 Toyota GR Supra GT4, Accelerating Performance, and drivers Nick Shanny and Terry Borcheller.
Invitational racers #49, in the new Saleen 1 GT4, Team Saleen with Steve Saleen and Eric Curran recorded a lap time of 1.47.229
