Alton, Virginia - The third event of the Pirelli GT4 America season has kicked off at VIRginia International Raceway under warm, sunny skies. Get ready for an excitement-filled weekend: some lightning-fast lap times were recorded during the first practice session.

In the Silver category, multiple 2022 season race winner Stevan McAleer (#18 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport) set the quickest time of the session with a 1:54.041, followed by Michai Stephens (#34 Conquest Racing/JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT4) with a 1:54.660, and John Geesbreght (#68 Smooge Racing Toyota GR Supra GT4) laying down a 1:55.095.

In Pro-Am, Andrew Davis (#2 GMG Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4) laid down the quickest lap time of 1:54.349, just a hair slower than McAleer in Silver.
