TRD DEVELOPMENT DRIVER JOHN GEESBREGHT AND KEVIN CONWAY TO RETURN FOR 2023 SRO GT4 AMERICA CHAMPIONSHIP

TRD (Toyota Racing Development) development driver John Geesbreght, is gearing up for a championship season as the 19-year-old will again be paired with longtime co-driver and Team Principal, Kevin Conway.  The duo is looking to continue their success in GT4 America presented by Pirelli with new primary marketing partner, CNR (Cooper Natural Resources) - the largest distributor of natural sodium sulfate in the U.S.  Geesbreght and Conway will campaign the new Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO.  

 

“I am really looking forward to this season, we have the new GR Supra GT4 EVO and new a partnership with CNR” said Geesbreght.  “TRD and Smooge Racing have given me the support and resources to succeed both on and off the race track, so I can’t wait to keep building on the momentum from the past two years.”

 

“I am stoked to keep the band together and chase another championship with John and Smooge Racing,” said Conway.  “The new GR Supra GT4 EVO is awesome and it’s going to be the car to have this year in GT4 America - I can’t wait to get to Sonoma with CNR and all of our great partners and teammates.”


Multi-championship winning Smooge Racing is carrying their momentum from the 2022 season as they are set to field multiple entries in GT4 America, GT America and the new GR Cup Series.  “We had a great season last year as we expanded to a four-car team.  We are building on that foundation as we are fielding multiple GR Supra GT4 Evos in both GT4 America and GT America along with four GR86’s in the GR Cup Series,” said Team Principal Kevin Conway.
