- Dubets and Anderson Lead Silver Class Championship
- Stephens and Webb Fight from Second
- Boehm and Koch Lead Hull by Seven Points
The Silver Class of the Pirelli GT4 America series has completed seven rounds of racing after being rained out once this season. Seven rounds of racing now remain on the 2023 calendar giving the drivers just as much time to reflect as they have to correct course.
JC Dubets and Zac Anderson are leading the Drivers Points Championship with 141 points claimed. The duo has three wins and three podium finishes in the No. 51 Auto Technic Racing BMW G82 M4 GT4. They always seem to be out front with their three podium finishes all being second-place finishes.
"It definitely feels good to be leading the points, but the championship is far from over," Dubets said. "All we can do is continue to prep for each event as they come. I feel blessed to have this opportunity to drive with not only Zac but all of my friends at the Autotechnic group. Our BMW has been an amazing package over the last few rounds, and we’re going to continue to develop our playbook. I’m looking forward to Road America; it’s always an exciting time."
Michai Stephens and Jesse Webb have collected 119 points in seven races. The duo has taken the No. 34 Conquest Racing / JMF Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4 to the winner’s circle twice and collected three podium finishes. Their finishes included two second-place positions and one third-place finish.
Kevin Boehm and Kenton Koch sit third in the Silver Class Driver Standings. The pair have earned 93 points this season. Their tally includes one win and two podium finishes in the No. 92 Random Vandals Racing BMW G82 M4 GT4. Boehm and Koch are followed closely by the Chandler Hull who claims the fourth-place position alone with 86 points.
Francis Selldorff and Andrew Davis are fifth in the standings with 71 points for ACI Motorsports. The pairing has found themselves mid-pack in points however they’ve been very competitive in the series if only a few positions off the podium. Davis and Selfdorff have one podium finish in their position.
Tyler Maxson and Tyler Gonzalez paired up in the No. 74 Copeland Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO for the season. Maxson and Gonzalez are sixth in the Drivers Points Championship with 63 points. The duo has one podium finish thus far in 2023.
Parker Thompson and Daniel Hanley have garnered 49 points placing them seventh in standings. They won Race Two at Circuit of the Americas in the Hanely Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4. The win gives them the edge of Jon Miller who sits alone in eighth place with 44 points.
Miller is followed even closer by Harry Gottsacker who has earned 42 points in the three races he’s tackled this season. Miller and Gottsacker have shared the season with Hull who sits in fourth place. Finally, rounding out the top ten are Chris Walsh and Dominic Starkweather who have collected 40 points in five races.
The next race for the Pirelli GT4 America series takes place at Road America Aug. 18-20. The drivers have three calendar events with seven races remaining to make a lunge for better standing.
