The SRO Motorsports America prize-giving ceremony took place at the JW Marriot in downtown Indianapolis following the fourth running of the Indianapolis 8-Hour presented by AWS, which marked the end of the 2023 race season.
The event conjoined all five SRO America race series in celebration, including the Fanatec GT World Challenge America, GT America powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America, TC America powered by AWS and Toyota GR Cup North America. The room lit up in red and surrounded guests with championship-winning race cars from various series while the familiar voices of Ryan Myrhen and Amanda Busik hosted the evening festivities. Champagne toasts cascaded table to table while team and drivers were crowned.
Zac Anderson Wins Driver Championship in Silver Class with AutoTechnic
Zac Anderson pulled double duty when his teammate JC Dubets injured his back while racing, but the additional hard work paid off with his first Silver Class Driver Championship. With four wins and eight podium finishes it was easier to count the races Anderson wasn’t seen on the podium. He was followed in the championship by driver pairing Michai Stephens and Jesse Webb, who capped the season off with a win in Race Two at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kenton Koch and Kevin Boehm had a slow start to the season but a string of success starting at Virginia International Raceway brought the duo to a third-place finish in the championship. The Silver Team Championship went to AutoTechnic Racing thanks to the talent of Dubets and Anderson. BMW walked away king as the Manufacturer Champion in the Silver Class.

Travis and Hart Best Described as Champions in PRO-AM Title
Matt Travis has eloquently described his and teammate Jason Hart’s relationship in many unique ways over the course of the season but now it can be best described as co-champions. The PRO-AM Driver Champions edged out James Walker Jr. and Tyler McQuarrie in the final weekend of the season. Elias Sabo and Andy Lee fought through adversity to finish third in the championship. Sabo and Lee along with teammates Jason Bell, Michael Cooper, Todd Parriott and Tom Dyer boosted Flying Lizard Motorsport to its second Team Championship of the 2023 season. The team also won the Championship in GT America powered by AWS GT4 Class.

BimmerWorld Walks Away Champions with BMW in 2023
Charlie Postins and James Clay in the No. 82 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT4 dominated the 2023 season and walked away AM Class Driver Champions. Clay and Postins strung together five race wins in a row for a total of seven wins giving BimmerWorld the Team Points Championship. Postins and Clay joined by Walker Jr. And McQuarrie in the PRO-AM Class elevated BMW to the Manufacturer Championship title in the Pirelli GT4 America series. Runner-Up in the Driver Points Championship of the AM Class was the duo of Robert May and Chris Allen who held a stead gap back to third-place finishers Nicholas Shanny and Terry Borcheller.

With the season officially checkered flagged for 2023, all eyes are on 2024 where SRO America will kick off the season at Sonoma Raceway on April 5th – 7th and make trips to best circuits in North America including a return to Barber Motorsports Park.
