P1 Groupe will be back on the grid as they make their return in Pirelli GT4 America. As a new team in the mix during the previous season, they navigated the highly competitive field and got up to speed, equipped with the Mercedes-AMG GT4 platform.
The group stepped on to the podium twice last year, including a stellar win at the extremely challenging VIRginia International Raceway. It was a thrilling charge through the pack over the course of the sprint event, which culminated in an intense battle on the final lap that saw them claim their maiden win as they got the upper hand in the last corners.
They went on to secure a second-place finish at Barber Motorsports Park in similarly dramatic fashion, running nose-to-tail with fellow competitors before going on to pick up another trophy.
“We were happy with the growth of the program from the 2023 to 2024 seasons,” expressed Eric Burch, President of P1 Groupe. “The move to GT4 America was a great fit for us, so we’re excited to return for another season in the series and build off the successes we've had this past season. There will be a few changes for the upcoming season but I am pleased to announce that our driving lineup will be unchanged as we take on the challenges of 2025. Stay tuned for our official team announcements!”
The unchanged driver lineup means that teammate pairing Alex Vogel and Matt Bell are set to fly the P1 Groupe banner once again as they continue with the program. With a year of experience under their belt, they’ll be vying for more consistent podium appearances in 2025.
