SRO America Stars Take On the Rolex 24

The 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona is set to showcase not only endurance racing at its finest but also the remarkable versatility and talent of drivers from the SRO America paddock as they take on one of the most challenging events in motorsport. Their presence at Daytona underscores the depth of talent across multiple series and the global appeal of GT racing.

GTP Class

Colin Braun is no stranger to success, having previously won an SRO America championship in the past. In 2025, he rejoins the Acura family with Meyer Shank Racing and seeks to secure his fourth Rolex 24 at Daytona win. On the other side of the garage, three-time IndyCar series champion and 2024 Indy 8 Hour podium finisher Alex Palou is taking on the 24-hour endurance race once again, jumping into an Acura ARX-06 as well.

LMP2 Class

George Kurtz returns to the LMP2 class in his No. 04 Crowdstrike Racing by APR, on the hunt for his first watch after previously finishing on the podium on three occasions. With a plethora of coveted victories to his name at some of the most prestigious events and circuits around the world, Kurtz is determined to add Daytona to his accomplishments.

GTD PRO Class

Roman De Angelis is quickly becoming a household name, and further extends his commitments to fan-favorite team the Heart of Racing.

BMW factory driver Neil Verhagen is taking another stab at the 24 Hours of Daytona, as the 2024 Vice Champion in the GT World Challenge America Pro-Am class continues to expand his racing resume as he steps into a full-season role.

Intercontinental GT Challenge drivers Kenny Habul, Maro Engel, Mikael Grenier, and Jules Gounon are forming a powerhouse lineup for 75 Express, going up against Mercedes-AMG GT3 counterparts Luca Stolz, Anthony Bartone, Maxime Martin, and Fabian Schiller in the GetSpeed car.

Alexander Sims and Laurin Heinrich were both on the podium in this past season’s Indy 8 Hour, with the latter taking the victory, and will be going head to head at Daytona in their respective Chevrolet and Porsche machinery.

GTD Class

The 2024 GT World Challenge America Pro Class champions Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer are reuniting once again to take on the Rolex 24 at Daytona with Wright Motorsports. They are also joining forces with Tom Sargent, who serves as the team’s Endurance driver for the season.

Meanwhile, 2024 Pro-Am class champion Robby Foley will continue to wear Turner Motorsport colors, paired with his Indy 8 Hour winning counterpart Patrick Gallagher, and SRO alumnus Jake Walker.

Although they competed against each other in two different Porsche rides last season, Kyle Marcelli and Trent Hindman will be sharing the cockpit as teammates. Spencer Pumpelly, who co-drove alongside Hindman at select events in 2024, will also be on the grid, this time in an Aston Martin GT3 Evo.

Philip Ellis, known for being masterful in a Mercedes, always remains one to watch. He has won the event twice, most recently in 2024, and is a consistent threat the moment he steps foot in the car due to his unparalleled speed and skill behind the wheel.

Although SRO America fans are accustomed to seeing Kenton Koch in various BMW GT3 and GT4 entries, this time around he will also be joining the fold in a Mercedes.

Parker Thompson is diving back into the world of Lexus for another season, aiming to kick off the year in style.

DXDT Racing’s Alec Udell contributed a great deal to Team Chevy’s milestones, including eight consecutive wins for the Corvette Z06 GT3.R on North American soil. Now, he’s back with the team in a new capacity, and ready to make history again.

Custodio Toledo and Riccardo Agostini will fly the AF Corse banner together again after partaking in a partial GT World Challenge America season last year, and are set to take on the Speedway with their Ferrari 296 GT3.

Three-time SRO America champion Eric Filgueiras is preparing to compete in the event for the first time, also in Mercedes machinery, co-driving with Dan Knox.
