Nolasport Continues Pursuit of Pirelli GT4 America Championship

New Orleans, LA. – Nolasport makes the trip north to Bowmanville, ON to continue the pursuit of the Pirelli GT4 America SprintX championship. The Nolasport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS MR hits the track at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (CTMP) May 17-19.

Nolasport last made the trip to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's legendary 3.957-km (2.459-mi.) Grand Prix circuit in 2017. CTMP is regarded as one of the world's most challenging highspeed natural terrain road courses and has hosted races since 1961 with a Hall of Fame list of champions.

Nolasport Team principal, Jon Scheurich is humbled by the success the team has found this season. 'We started the season with no expectations, good people, a solid driver lineup and brand new Porsches. We knew that if things went well we'd get some attention and stand on the podium. The success we've found to date is a tremendous achievement by any measure and testament to all the work the team has put in.'

The Pirelli GT4 America SprintX Pro-Am points leading Nolasport entry of Matt Travis and Jason Hart are looking forward to the challenge of Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

This will be the first trip to CTMP for Matt Travis. Known for his measured and methodical approach, the Texan has always caught on fast at a new facility and looks forward to rising to the challenge. 'I guess I'll find out how accurate iRacing's track map is! This is one of those times I'm really fortunate to be paired with Jason. It is a new track for me but I can lean on his CTMP experience and we'll get straight to work getting my performance up to par.'

Jason Hart returns to CTMP for the first time since 2017 when that visit found success with the Nolasport team. 'CTMP is an old school, high-speed, full commit facility, perfect for a Nolasport Porsche. The legends that have raced and won at this track are a who's who of racing's history books and the Canadian fans are renowned for their support of sportscar racing. I'm excited to get in the Nolasport 47 and see how we measure up against the Pirelli GT4 America field.'
