Jan Heylen Joins ACI Motorsports for Pirelli GT4 America Championship Finale

ACI Motorsports arrives at Indianapolis locked in a championship battle, currently second in the Pirelli GT4 America Pro-Am standings and only a few points off the lead. With two rounds remaining, the finale promises intense wheel-to-wheel racing and a dramatic finish to the season. “It’s been a tight fight all year,” said Curt Swearingin. “We’re close in the points and every position will matter at Indy. The finale will be close and action-packed as the title is on the line.”

For the finale, team owner Curt Swearingin will be joined in the No. 7 entry by Jan Heylen, while regular co-driver Riley Dickinson will be at Circuit of The Americas contending for his own Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro championship. “Bringing Jan on board gives our program an experienced, proven competitor who knows how to score when it matters most,” said Swearingin. “Jan’s versatility and racecraft make him an ideal partner. We expect an aggressive weekend at Indy and are thrilled to have him in our lineup.”

This weekend Heylen will run double duty, racing the Porsche 992 GT3 R for RS1 in GT World Challenge America Pro and jumping into ACI’s Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for Pirelli GT4. Those are two very different machines, but Heylen’s experience and adaptability mean he’ll be an immediate asset. His technical feedback and consistency will be crucial as the team pushes for the championship.

Jan Heylen is a championship-proven racer with wins in open-wheel, GT and endurance competition, and is a past Porsche Cup winner. Respected across the paddock for his technical insight and calm racecraft under pressure, Heylen brings the experience ACI needs for a title run.

“Indianapolis is an incredible track and this is a huge weekend. It’s an honor to join Curt and the ACI Motorsports team for the title fight. Driving the GT3 R and the Cayman back-to-back will be a challenge, but I’ll give everything I have to help the No. 7 reach the top,” Heylen added.

So far this season the No. 7 squad has been a front-runner in Pro-Am with multiple class podiums, an in-class victory and an overall race win. The duo has shown strong pace and the ability to contend in mixed conditions,  momentum they hope to carry into the championship finale.

For Indianapolis, ACI Motorsports will field two Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsports:
No. 7 — Curt Swearingin / Jan Heylen (Pro-Am)

No. 9 — Dan Sibille / Loek Hartog (Pro-Am)

The Pirelli GT4 America season concludes October 16–19 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the Indy 8 Hour weekend. Rounds 12 and 13 will be contested on the Brickyard’s road course, where every lap could decide the championship.
