NOLASPORT is proud to announce that Matt Travis will join Matheus Leist behind the wheel of the No. 47 NOLASPORT Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for the full 2026 season of Pirelli GT4 America competition.
The duo will compete in the Pro-Am class, reuniting after partnering in the final rounds of the 2025 season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With momentum already established, the pairing sets its sights firmly on being in title contention in 2026.
The lineup combines proven championship pedigree on both sides of the driver lineup. Travis, a former series champion and consistent front-runner, returns to familiar territory with NOLASPORT. A cornerstone of the team’s past success, Travis claimed GT4 America titles in 2021 and 2023 as part of NOLASPORT’s three consecutive team championships wins. His longstanding relationship with the organization has produced multiple race victories and championship glory.
Beyond domestic competition in the United States, Travis has also represented the team internationally in the GT4 European Series, taking on the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and showcasing NOLASPORT’s strengths on a global scale.
Leist, meanwhile, has quickly become a key figure in the team’s growth. Since joining the NOLASPORT roster, the former IndyCar driver and GT racing star has accumulated multiple wins, podium finishes, and pole positions, consistently demonstrating front-running speed across all categories of competition in a highly robust field. Entering his second full season with the team, Leist is poised to mount his strongest championship bid yet.
“ I'm thrilled to take another swing at the Pro-am title with NOLASPORT, stated Matt Travis. “I enjoyed racing with Matheus last year at Indy, so I'm excited to keep that momentum rolling. As always, we first shake it, then bake it. Shake and bake!”
“I’m very excited to be back for a full season in the GT4 America Pro-Am championship with NOLASPORT,” shared Matheus Leist. “I really enjoyed working with Jon and the entire team last year, and I’m looking forward to continuing that momentum into this season. I’m also thrilled to be sharing the car with Matt Travis for the full campaign ahead. We have a strong foundation to build on, and I’m motivated to fight for the title together.”
He concluded by saying, “I’m grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get back behind the wheel at Sonoma in just a few weeks to get the season underway.”
The 2026 season kicks off at Sonoma Raceway from March 27th to 29th with the opening doubleheader weekend. The championship will then head to Circuit of The Americas for the marquee three-hour Lone Star Enduro. Additional rounds include visits to Sebring International Raceway, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Road America, Barber Motorsports Park, before concluding at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
With a winning foundation, a proven Porsche platform, and a highly competitive driver pairing, NOLASPORT enters 2026 focused on adding another Pirelli GT4 America championship title to its decorated résumé.
