Toyota Finds Footing in Global GT4 Manufacturer Championship

Twenty-two rounds have unfolded in the 2026 Global GT4 Manufacturer Championship, and while a few brands have established themselves as clear frontrunners, there are still a lot of opportunities up for grabs. The top two in the standings have remained the same since the previous update following the Lone Star Enduro at Circuit of The Americas, but the pendulum has swung again.

Toyota has held firm at the top of the leaderboard, now sitting on 552 points. While BMW M began closing in, the gap has grown a bit more again, with 53 points standing between them. Porsche continues to hold on to third place with 365 points, but will need a strong push to catch up to those ahead.

Toyota

While Sebring wasn’t a display of Toyota dominance as shown in prior events, it still resulted in a solid points haul, collecting 34 across both one-hour endeavors under the Florida sun.

RAFA Racing Team doubled up on podium finishes in the Silver class, as Westin Workman and Tyler Gonzalez drove their No. 68 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4 EVO2 to a third place finish in Race 1, and a second place result in Race 2. Elsewhere in the RAFA Racing Team camp, Anthony Geraci and Kenny Schmied delivered podiums of their own in the Am class, with two P3 results across the weekend in their No. 72 machine.

BMW

BMW M walked away from Sebring with another 54 points in the bag, with commanding performances in all classes of competition.

Random Vandals Racing was the standout team, with the duo of Sam Craven and Kenton Koch sweeping the weekend in the Pro-Am class in their No. 94 BMW M4 GT4 (G82) EVO. The Silver pairing of Bruno Colombo and Josh Green took home some hardware for the No. 98 BMW, crossing the line third in Race 1, while Judson Holt and Denny Stripling did the same in the Am class in Race 1 on board the No. 188 BMW.

Meanwhile, the No. 36 BimmerWorld BMW of James Clay and James Walker Jr. secured another victory in the Am class in the opening race of the weekend and a second place result in Race 2, continuing their strong form after previously winning at COTA. In Race 2, it was Michael and Alex Garcia who triumphed and took the win in the Am category for the No. 21 ACI Motorsports entry.

Additionally, Kevin Boehm and Francis Selldorff earned a runner-up finish in their No. 51 AutoTechnic Racing BMW in Race 1.

Porsche

Porsche took away more points than any other manufacturer in Sebring, with a total of 68 at the conclusion of the fifth and sixth rounds of the American championship.

This can be attributed to the picture perfect weekend that RS1 had. Spencer Pumpelly and Luca Mars were in a league of their own in Florida, earning pole position and winning both races in class and overall. The No. 028 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport was simply untouchable.

Matheus Leist also scored a pole position of his own ahead of Race 2 in the No. 47 NOLASPORT Pro-Am entry. He and teammate Matt Travis went on to bring home a second place trophy.
