After completing a test session earlier in the day, the Pirelli GT4 America officially set off for Practice 1 in the mid-afternoon Georgia sun as they took over Road Atlanta. After 45 minutes of running, it was the No. 7 ACI Motorsports Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Jimmy Llibre and Yves Baltas who went quickest, putting over half a second between them and the No. 52 Kellymoss Porsche of Tom Kopczynski and Eric Filgueiras in second. Third place was occupied by the No. 51 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4 (G82) EVO of Kevin Boehm and Francis Selldorff, going just marginally quicker than Dome Motorsport's Allen Patten and Marc Miller in the No. 39 Mercedes-AMG GT4. The Top 5 was complete by the sister Auto Technic Racing No. 19 entry of Roland Krainz and Stevan McAleer.
