Seven rounds are complete and six remain in the 2026 Pirelli GT4 America season, with compelling and thrilling championship battles taking shape across all three classes. While several teams have emerged as favorites through the opening half of the campaign, there is still plenty to play for as the series prepares to return from its summer break in late August.
Silver Class
RS1's Luca Mars and Spencer Pumpelly have established themselves as the team to beat in the Silver class. The Porsche duo enters the second half of the season with 177 points after an extraordinary run of form that has seen them seize control of the championship. Their season truly came alive at Circuit of The Americas, where they captured their first victory in the double-points Lone Star Enduro.
Since then, Mars and Pumpelly have been virtually unstoppable. The pair swept both race weekends at Sebring and Road Atlanta, building a substantial points advantage and emerging as clear championship favorites heading into the final rounds.
RAFA Racing Team's Westin Workman and Tyler Gonzalez sit second in the standings with 138 points. The Toyota pairing enjoyed a dream start to the season by sweeping both races during the Sonoma opener. While they have been unable to replicate that early dominance in subsequent rounds, consistency has kept them firmly in contention. Four additional podium finishes have allowed them to remain within striking distance as they search for another victory to reignite their championship challenge.
Third in the standings are Auto Technic Racing teammates Francis Seldorff and Kevin Boehm with 114 points. The BMW duo has been one of the most consistently competitive pairings in the field, recording five runner-up finishes through the opening four rounds. Despite repeatedly knocking on the door of victory, a breakthrough win has so far remained elusive. With their pace evident every weekend, the second half of the season may provide the opportunity they've been waiting for.
Pro-Am Class
The Pro-Am category has been defined by the strength of Random Vandals Racing. Kenton Koch and Sam Craven, both former GT4 America champions, lead the standings with 161 points after producing the most dominant campaign in the class. They have accumulated four victories and two runner-up finishes, consistently maximizing points and establishing themselves as the benchmark entry in Pro-Am competition.
NOLASPORT occupies second place with 112 points as Matheus Leist and Matt Travis once again find themselves in championship contention. The pair started the season in ideal fashion by winning the opening race at Sonoma and have remained among the frontrunners throughout the year. Three additional podium finishes have helped keep them in the title fight, though they will need a strong second half to close the gap to the leaders.
Blackdog Racing's Tony Gaples and Michael Cooper sit third with 98 points and have already enjoyed a season filled with milestones. The duo swept the Road Atlanta weekend and has added three more podium finishes, but their achievements extend beyond race results. Gaples became the driver with the most race starts in SRO America history, while Cooper's victories at Road Atlanta moved him into a tie for the most wins by any driver in SRO America competition.
Am Class
BimmerWorld's James Walker Jr. and James Clay lead the standings with 135 points as the legendary BMW squad returns to championship-winning form. The pair has collected two victories, including a crucial triumph in the 50-point Lone Star Enduro at COTA, along with two additional runner-up finishes.
Their closest challengers are ACI Motorsports teammates Alex and Michael Garcia, who sit second with 107 points. After a difficult start to the season, the brothers have transformed as championship prospects with an impressive surge of momentum. The Garcias have won the last three races in succession and now enter the second half as one of the hottest teams in the series.
Just one point further back are Random Vandals Racing teammates Denny Stripling and Judson Holt with 106 points. They recorded two victories and two additional podium finishes through the opening rounds, positioning themselves squarely in the title fight. With only a single point separating second and third, every race result could prove decisive as the championship enters its final stages.
