GT4 America Title Fights Take Center Stage at Barber Motorsports Park

Pirelli GT4 America returns to action at Barber Motorsports Park for Rounds 10 and 11 of the 2026 season as the championship enters its final four races. The UAB Medicine GT World Alabama benefiting Teal Wings of Hope event will provide the backdrop for another pair of 60-minute sprint races, with championship contenders looking to make the most of every remaining opportunity as the season approaches its conclusion.

BMW continues to lead the Global GT4 Manufacturer Championship with 1,244 points, while Toyota and Porsche now sit tied for second with 1,060 points apiece. With only two events left on the American calendar, the manufacturer championship is entering a critical phase, with the Alabama doubleheader offering another opportunity for each marque to strengthen its position before the season finale.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin continues to expand its presence in GT4 America, with two new entries set to take on Barber Motorsports Park with 89x Motorsports and VPX Motorsport adding more Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVOs to the field for the Alabama weekend.

BMW 

The BMW contingent remains one of the largest on the grid, with 12 entries representing the manufacturer across the Am, Pro-Am and Silver classes. BMW teams collected five podium finishes across five different entries at Road America, continuing a season-long run of strong results. With multiple BMW crews still involved in championship battles, Barber represents another important opportunity to add points to the manufacturer's already substantial total.

Ford 

Ford arrives in Alabama with plenty of momentum following a standout weekend at Road America, where TechSport Racing swept the two races for a pair of victories in what was a milestone weekend for the manufacturer. McCumbee McAleer Racing will also introduce a new driver pairing at Barber, with Carlton MacFarlane joining Jenson Altzman in the No. 11 Mustang GT4.

McLaren  

Blackdog Racing enters Barber following one of its strongest weekends of the season. The team secured two victories at Road America for their home event, with Michael Cooper further adding to his record-setting career in SRO America competition. Advance Motorsports also arrives with confidence after earning its first podium of the season in challenging wet conditions at the Wisconsin circuit.

Mercedes-AMG 

Mercedes-AMG will field four entries at Barber, with Dome Motorsport, Off Leash Motorsports and newcomer BSG Motorsports represented across the Pro-Am and Am classes. Dome Motorsport enters the weekend with podium momentum from both Road Atlanta and Road America, while BSG Motorsports adds a new car to the grid for its GT4 America debut.

Porsche  

Porsche heads to Barber with the Silver championship potentially within reach for RS1. Luca Mars and Spencer Pumpelly extended their remarkable winning streak at Road America despite early adversity, switching to a spare NOLASPORT chassis after their original car was damaged. The pair went on to claim both victories and their seventh consecutive win, putting them in position to potentially secure the Silver title during the Alabama doubleheader.

Toyota  

Toyota enters Barber looking to strengthen its position in the Global GT4 Manufacturer Championship after Porsche moved level with the marque in the standings. The manufacturer enjoyed a productive weekend at Road America, collecting podiums in Pro-Am, Am and Silver competition. Precision Racing LA secured a long-awaited Pro-Am podium, while RAFA Racing Team added two more top-three results across its entries.
