Smooge Racing is set to return to SRO competition fielding two new Toyota GR Supra GT4 programs in Pirelli GT4 America, with Lexus GT3 driver Aaron Telitz and Todd Coleman. Coleman will also contend for the GT America Championship in the GT4 category. Defending Pirelli GT4 America Am Class Champions John Geesbreght and Kevin Conway will continue their pursuit for another championship.
“We are incredibly excited to see the growth of Smooge Racing, as we head into our second year with John and Kevin. We’re fortunate to have veterans like Jack Hawksworth and Aaron Telitz come out of the Lexus program to help out the Toyota family and our team this season,” said Alex Geesbreght, owner of Smooge Racing. “While Jack and Aaron bring a great deal of experience and a history of success to the team, we are equally excited to welcome Todd Coleman to our team, as he takes the next step in his career under the tutelage of Aaron."
Smooge Racing won the Pirelli GT4 America Drivers and Team Championship in the AM classification in their debut season. 2022 marks the beginning of a new era, as Smooge Racing is set to field multiple Toyota GR Supra GT4’s in Pirelli GT4 America, GT America, and IMSA Pilot Challenge.
