The final practice session on Friday was much of the same as the morning with clear track, fast laps, and sweltering NOLA weather. In the Silver category, Stevan McAleer (#18 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport) set the quickest time of the session with a 1:43.685, followed by Michai Stevens (#34 Conquest Racing/JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT4) with a 1:44.202, and Ryan Dexter (#112 Dexter Racing Toyota GR Supra GT4) laying down a 1:44.954
In Pro-Am, Elliot Skeer (#120 Premier Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport) set the fastest lap of the session with a 1:43.581, faster than McAleer in Silver. Right behind him was Kenton Koch (#15 BSport Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4) with a 1:43.914, followed by the third-quickest time of 1:44.055 was claimed by Andy Lee (#8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4).
Populating the top of Am was Terry Borcheller (#21 Carrus Callas Raceteam Toyota GR Supra GT4) who led the pack with a 1:44.998, followed by Charlie Postins (#36 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT4) setting a 1:45.212, and Nelson Calle (#83 RSI Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport) clocking in a 1:45.327.
Qualifying begins at 10:25 AM Central on Saturday.
