TechSport Racing To Run New Nissan Z GT4 America in SRO Pirelli GT4 America Series

TechSport Racing announced today that the team will be running the Nissan Z GT4 in the SRO Pirelli GT4 America Series. The Alton, VA-based team has a long history of running the Nissan 370Z in SRO’s TC America class, which made the team a natural to run this all-new Nissan Z GT4 machine.  

 

“We are thrilled to be the first customer team to run the new Z GT4 car in competition in the United States,” said team owner Kevin Anderson. “The car combines the best of the previous-generation Z with the latest design and engineering upgrades. Nissan has absolutely nailed the look and function of this car.  It is a masterpiece.”

 

SRO GT4 America fields more than 30 cars in the class and represents some of the most exciting racing that SRO has to offer.

The all-new Nissan Z GT4 sports a silhouette that combines a perfect amount of nostalgia and new age sleek design.  Under the hood is a powerful 3.0-liter twin turbo engine with 450 horsepower, backed by a six-speed sequential transmission.

 

Z1 Motorsports, one of the world's largest distributor of Z parts, will be supporting TechSport’s efforts in this upcoming season.
