Counting Down to the Centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa

The largest GT race in the world is fast approaching, and the centenary CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa promises to be bigger and better than ever. The exceptional action is set to unfold on the legendary Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps across June 26th to 30th, with the world’s greatest racing talents facing off in a quest to conquer one of the most challenging events in motorsports.  

With elite manufacturers such as Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Mercedes-AMG competing for glory, joined by the debut of the Ford GT3, the anticipation is rising as a thrilling battle among the world's top GT brands looms closer.  

The green flag will wave to commence the 24-hour endurance race on June 29th at 4:30 PM CEST / 10:30 AM EST. 
 
PRO 

The Pro class is jam-packed with top-tier international talents, many of whom have seen a great deal of success in the SRO Motorsports and Intercontinental GT Challenge platforms.  
 
Mercedes has a plethora of must-watch entries, as Jules Gounon and Luca Stolz are set to command the No. 2 M-AMG Team GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, while Daniel Juncadella is taking on the Belgian track in the No. 130 Mercedes-AMG Team GruppeM Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO. Maximilian Götz is a part of the driver lineup for the No. 9 Boutsen VDS Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, while Maro Engel and Daniel Morad will be on board the No. 48 Mercedes AMG Team MANN-FILTER Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.  

The No. 32 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 features the highly competitive combination of Dries Vanthoor, Sheldon van der Linde, and Charles Weerts, while the sister No. 46 car will see Raffaele Marciello and Maxime Martin behind the wheel. BMW is a force to be reckoned with, and Philipp Eng, who took home the win last year, will attempt to repeat his previous performance and claim the top spot once more for the No. 98 Rowe Racing BMW M4 GT3.  

The Iron Lynx team will consist of Mirko Bortolotti, Matteo Cairoli, and Andrea Caldarelli as the trio are equipped with the No. 63 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. Comparatively, the No. 163 GRT - Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 boasts the impressive lineup of Jordan Pepper, Franck Perera, and Marco Mapelli.  

Christopher Mies and Dennis Olsen are racing with the No. 64 Proton Competition Ford Mustang GT3 and will be a part of an exciting new chapter as the American brand makes its first appearance in global SRO competition.  

Jan Heylen is set to command one of the two Audi entries in the Pro class with the No. 28 Haas RT Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II, with the other being driven by Christopher Haase in the No. 99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II.  

Henrique Chaves and Ross Gunn are teaming up to co-drive the No. 34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO.  

Finally, it’s been a busy few weeks for Porsche factory drivers, as Mathieu Jaminet and Matt Campbell prepare for their third 24-hour race of the month, this time in the No. 92 SSR Herberth Porsche 911 GT3 R, with Laurens Vanthoor and Kevin Estre doing the same in the No. 992 HubAuto Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R. 

PRO-AM 

Longtime Fanatec GT World Challenge America teammates and champions Colin Braun and George Kurtz will be joining forces with Ian James and Nicky Catsburg once again as they seek another CrowdStrike Spa 24 Hours victory. With a lineup consisting entirely of previous winners, the No. 4 CrowdStrike By Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO will be a strong contender for the class win.  

GOLD 

The Gold class welcomes a compelling Mercedes face-off as Michele Beretta climbs on board the No. 77 Haupt Racing Team Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, with current GT World Challenge America competitor Philip Ellis taking a seat in the No. 777 AlManar Racing by GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.  

SILVER 

Anthony Bartone is a well-recognized name in the SRO America paddocks after previously competing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America and GT America powered by AWS championships. He will be amongst the Silver class ranks, competing with the No. 3 GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.  

BRONZE 

GT World Challenge America alumnus Chandler Hull is amongst the Bronze class entrants in the No. 74 Kessel Racing Ferrari 296 GT3, with Connor De Phillippi accompanying him in the same class in the No. 991 Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT3.
