TechSport Racing has joined forces with sim racing team, Alien Motorsports. “We are proud to team up with some of the current Alien Motorsports roster online racing team to create a winning presence in the sim world representing TechSport Racing.” States team principle, Kevin Anderson.

The goal of this program is to create a cross-training environment where online racers and racecar drivers collaborate to enrich each of their skills. The program will allow the online racers to experience actual on track testing and foster a bridge from online to actual car racing and the current Techsport race car drivers enhanced online training in preparation of SRO events.

The opening roster includes

  • Ian Brown, Daytona 24 (‘24), Road America 500 (‘23), and Bathurst 1000 (‘22) Champion + CiL GR86 Cup Champion.
  • Jake Cummings, 2023 iRacing Daytona 24 and 2024 Sebring 12 Champion, CiL GR86 Cup Runner-Up.
  • Brett Gardner, Sebring 12 (‘24), Bathurst 1000 (‘23), and Road America 500 (‘23) Champion
  • Andrew Fairley, Sebring 12 (‘24), Daytona 24 (‘23), and Le Mans 24 (‘23) Champion

TechSport Racing has rich history in sim racing going back to the late 90’s. TSR owner Kevin Anderson as one of the original online racers using the “Hawaii” network for the Papyrus NASCAR Racing series of sims. TechSport Racing won the inaugural live SRO E-Sports event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with team manager and pro driver Devin Anderson, son of Kevin Anderson.

The 2024 Sim schedule includes the following events Broadcasted by Racespot TV:

  • World Sim Racing GT Championship
  • World Sim Racing World Sports Car Cup
  • Precision Racing League LMP3/GT4 Challenge

TechSport Racing is currently the Team Champions of the inaugural season in GR Cup. The team fields four GR Cup entries in the 2024 season as well as two Nissan Z Nismo GT4 racecars in the SRO GT4 America class.

TechSport Racing is a professional race team operating out of Thomasville NC. Since its inception in 2014, TechSport has amassed six Team Championships, three Driver Championships, one Crew of the Year and one Manufacturers Championship (Subaru). TechSport is a family-owned business operated by Kevin Anderson and Deborah Popolizio and managed by Devin Anderson.
