Nissan Z NISMO GT4 race teams set to close 2024 season at the Brickyard

The Nissan Z NISMO GT4 race teams are heading to the world-famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 2024 Pirelli GT4 America series season finale. The action-packed weekend includes a Nissan dealer event, four races, a Nissan “Feel the Thrill” fan zone, a Z trackside car coral on Saturday and a black-tie awards gala for the teams.

“Each race may award the same points, but racing at a track with over a century of history makes Indy an iconic and fitting place to conclude the season,” said Mike Carcamo, Program Director, Sports Cars, NISMO Cars and Motorsports, Nissan Motor Corporation. “We know that all three of our teams will be looking to cap the season with a win. On Sunday night we’ll celebrate the 2024 season and on Monday morning the planning for 2025 will accelerate.”

Three Nissan customer teams will field four Nissan Z NISMO GT4 race cars:

  • TechSport Racing: Jonathan Neudorf and Johan Schwartz, who scored a podium finish in the #23 at Road America, will be joined by Colin Harrison and Elivan Goulart in the #22.
  • Blackdog Racing: Tony Gaples and Michael Cooper will race the #9 Z. Earlier this year, Blackdog Racing made history with the first Pro-Am class win for the Nissan Z NISMO GT4 at Sebring. Gaples is currently fourth in the Pro-Am standings, making him the highest-placed Nissan racer.
  • Flying Lizard Motorsports: The #5 Z will take on double duty with Damir Hot and Rodrigo Baptista competing in the Pirelli GT4 America races. Damir will also race solo in the GT America races.
